Regarding this Hobby Lobby bs:
If it’s against their religious beliefs they wouldn’t buy things from China where abortions are forced by the government. And they wouldn’t put stock into companies that produce the products that they’re “boycotting.”
(In other words, it’s not about religious freedom. Religious freedom is about the individual and being able to practice what you believe in, whether it involves paying for birth control or getting it through your insurance policy or choosing to birth eighteen heathen kids to put on medicaid. This lawsuit was about corporate politics.)
Less affordable birth control = more abortions.
When I didn’t have insurance, I got knocked up by accident because even “smart” people make bad choices. Now instead of paying for a $500 iud to prevent pregnancy, everyone who pays taxes gets to pay for my disabled child’s really, really expensive hospital stays as long as he lives.
