Good Manners for Nice People Who Sometimes Say Fuck
I don’t read much. I’m ADD as hell, so sitting and reading is difficult. I’ve recently decided Audible was worth the subscription fee- I can listen going to and from work and it’s as easy to pay attention as the music I’d otherwise listen to- so I jumped it. It’s letting me catch up on years of S. King novels I’ve wanted to read and haven’t gotten around to.
I realized this week that they have daily deals. You can get books for a few dollars versus the sometimes outrageous amounts of a full-size novel.
I scored a book that I want to recommend. A self-help book… of sorts… but a good read (or listen). It’s funny AND useful. If you like to read and are’t easily offended by a bit of foul language, check out “Good Manners for Nice People Who Sometimes Say F*ck” by Amy Alkon. It’s a modern day etiquette book of sorts, how to “do unto others” in this technological age.
I might start handing it out as birthday gifts.
