Here is the recording of what went down last night in Carrollton GA. What we can tell from the audio, the man A) does not have his ID or carry permit, B) He’s a felon (which means you aren’t supposed to even touch a gun for life) C) The gun wasn’t registered.  This was not a case of police brutality. The officer warned the man multiple times to not put his hand on his firearm, or the officer would shoot. And the man drew his firearm, and he got shot.

If you want to blame anybody, blame the people who were afraid of a man carrying a firearm around an ATM and as station. Which is perfectly normal to be afraid of. This is a sad situation for everyone involved.. I mean you can literally hear the pain the officer felt after shots were fired.

All I can really ask from you people reading this is please don’t blow this up. Carrollton PD are not corrupt, I’ve known a good many of them for my whole life. If you are in the West Ga area, please be safe. Don’t blow this out of proportion.

With the audio/video being released so quickly, I don’t think there will be a huge fuss made.  I mean, it sucks that the guy was shot, but when an officer asks you several times to stop… You stop. I expect the officer felt like it was his only option.  I think that making the video available immediately will prevent a lot of drama that has occurred elsewhere when an officer ends up having to shoot a suspect.  Still, very unfortunate event.
