13 Queer Fashion Tumblrs You Need To Know About
All the outfit ideas, ya’ll.We were featured on BuzzFeed alongside many of our friends this morning!
Man, these all seem like great style blogs, and I follow some of them already, but it seems pretty gross that a list of “queer style blogs” is 100% for MoC AFAB folks, right? Am I missing some important context here?
#queer#doesn’t just mean masculinity#I know qwear has the fit for a femme column#which mitigates this a bit#but at the same time it’s not mentioned in the article
Agreed! Fit for a Femme even has her own (amazing) blog which could be included. I know and love lots of these, and am happy to see them promoted like this, but the implication (here and other places, sometimes) still seems to be that femmes just dress like straight girls anyway, so why would we need our own representation?
Though I should mention, that my friend Lexi (the blonde one on my back) is femme! She just happens to be wearing a bow tie in that picture. Because I put her in a bow tie.
Totally (okay, maybe 75%) straight, but I love gender bending style (on either side of the spectrum). I’ll take slacks and a tie over a dress any day.
