Today we were tasked with calling competitors to find out about any promotions they might have going. Andrew did this. He dialed up the office at the end of our strip and suddenly realized that they know our voices. Andrew is a rather well spoken fellow. He abruptly took on this southern character that’s a mix between Rick Grimes, Billy Bob Thorton, and a special education student from rural Georgia. It was a lengthy conversation. He explained that his name was Cahl-vvihhn, and he drives a 91 Cahpreece. I was trying SO hard to not laugh, staring, jaw slack. I don’t know how he got through it. He was speaking very slowly and calmly.
He hung up the phone and almost hyperventilated, unable to stop laughing. This is how we make it through days at a crappy job.
